God knows our imperfections better than anyone
He understands that none of us are perfect and therefore none of us can ever be exactly like Jesus. While He has made provisions, through Jesus, for our imperfections He still expects us to live an upright life to the best of our ability. The scripture is very clear that God wants us to live a life full of humility and modesty along with the willingness to serve others and clear evidence of the Fruits of The Spirit in everything we do.

And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
